The Lawyer Referral Services makes more than 1,300 referrals each year to attorneys that participate in the service in Tacoma, Washington, and the surrounding areas in Pierce County, WA.
The participating attorneys service on different subject matter panels including: bankruptcy, business, collections, consumer, contract, criminal, elder law, employment law, family law, immigration, intellectual property, military law, personal injury, real estate, tax, wills and estates.
When you call the service, a trained staff person will talk with you about your legal concern. The staff person will help you determine the best type of attorney needed for your legal issue. When appropriate, the staff person will refer you to a local attorney in exchange for a $35 non-refundable fee. The nominal fee helps cover the cost of the non-profit service.
