The Baton Rouge Bar Association (BRBA) sponsors a Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) that helps individuals and businesses find a qualified attorney in West Baton Rouge Parish, Ascension Parish, East Feliciana Parish, Livingston Parish, and Pointe Coupe Parish.

Attorneys that participate in the Lawyer Referral Service must:

• be engaged in the full time practice of law;
• maintain a bona fide local office;
• remain in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar Association;
• maintain professional liability insurance; and
• hold membership in the Baton Rouge Bar Association (BRBA).

Attorneys in the service agree to provide a 30 minute consultation fee in exchange for a $50 fee that must be prepaid by the client with a debit or credit card.
