Normal office hours for the Broward County Lawyer Referral Service are Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
When you call the Lawyer Referral Manager will ask you to describe your legal concern. Then the Lawyer Referral Manager will match you with a local attorney with experience representing a client in that type of case. You will be given the name and phone number of the attorney.
It is then up to you to call the attorney to schedule a 30-minute consultation. You should inform the attorney or the staff that you were referred by the Lawyer Referral and Information Service of the Broward County Bar Association.
You are required to pay the BCBA a $50 administrative fee before a lawyer referral can be given. The service will accept cash, Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Cash payments are only accepted in the BCBA office.
