The San Mateo County Bar Association sponsors a non-profit Lawyer Referral Service. Since 1958, this community based public service has been helping individuals and businesses throughout San Mateo, Daly City, Redwood City, and South San Francisco, CA.
The service is certified by the State Bar of California (Certificate 0039) and meets the standards of the American Bar Association for a Lawyer Referral Service.
With offices in Redwood City, the Lawyer Referral Service has a staff that can talk with you during the confidential intake process to determine the type of legal issue involved and make a referral to a local qualified attorney. A fee of $30 is required for the referral.
After the referral, you can contact the attorney for a free 30 minute consultation to discuss the case at no additional charge. During that consultation, you can find out more about hiring that attorney to help you with your legal problem.
