The Vermont Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (VTACDL) provides state-wide support, training and networking opportunities to attorneys who defend those accused of crimes in state and federal court. The organization presents a unified and credible voice for the state criminal defense bar.
Its mission is to promote the study and research of criminal defense, advance the knowledge of the criminal defense law, administer the proper administration of the criminal justice system, foster the expertise of criminal defense lawyers, provide a forum for criminal defense lawyers to exchance information regarding the administration of justice, protect the individual rights of the accused nad improve the practice and procedure of criminal law.

It is an affiliate of the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
