The Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (AACDL) is a state affiliate of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL). AACDL was reorganized in 1999. Its mission works to ensure fairness in the criminal justice system and due process for persons accused of crimes.
Today the AACDL has near to 300 members. The AACDL is consists of the highest level criminal defense lawyers in the state. The AACDL provides services to its members to enhance their legal training and education. The AACDL hosts online and in-person seminars throughout the year and a member-only listserv which provides access to a large network of colleague expertise and counsel.
AACDL serves as a professional organization for criminal defense attorneys in Arkansas, and advocates for reform in criminal justice in Arkansas. The AACDL publishes Quarterly Journal, a magazine with the filled the latests news and updates from the AACDL including its advocacy work and federal and state cases.
